cedar barrel cabins

Experience the spectacular views of the west coast from the comfort of your own sleeping cabin. Our three cedar barrel cabins are custom made here on Vancouver Island and offer a beautiful place to rest and relax during your stay. Each of the three cabins has one king size bed, two bench seats, a small slide out table and a basic solar power system for charging small electronics. Each cabin is most suitable for 2 guests to share and are mostly meant for sleeping and lounging since they are quite small and cozy. We provide all of the bedding but guests are also welcome to bring their own sleeping bags/blankets since the cabins are not heated and may be a bit cool during the shoulder seasons.

tent pads

For larger groups of up to 12 guests, we also have 4 additional tent pads where guests can set up their own small-medium sized tents and bedding. The tents spots are cleared, levelled and filled in with smooth fine beach gravel for drainage and comfort. Two of the pads are situated deeper in the temperate rainforest surrounded by towering cedar, hemlock, and sitka spruce trees. The other two tent spots are located closer to the shoreline and offer beautiful ocean views. If you are travelling without camping gear, these can be rented from outdoor outfitter shops in the nearby communities of Port Alberni, Nanaimo, Comox, Victoria, or Vancouver.
